poems

Haiku
Miles of water
Surround a peaceful island
Home of memories

clerihew

My good buddy duff
Who is quite big and rough
Enjoys a good ski
And a hospital bill for hitting a tree

Limerick
There once was man from the nile
Who was fighting a big crocodile
And all through the day
The fight was underway
Until the croc took a chomp with a smile

poem of choice

A guitar

A guitar sits in front of me
Maple with a rosewood finish that shine up the body
The neck spotted with fretsit is a maker of music
Of passion
Happiness
Shame
Sorrow
Love
Its image can be clean or distorted
Looked down upon by others
Many overlook the power it has
To turn emotions into music
And music
To memories

1) For the Limerick you should shorten the fourth ling to 5 syllables not 6 or it doesn't have the same tone to it.
2) What does home of memories mean?
3) The guitar poem is really good I'm not sure what you can t do to change it, maybe add on to it extend it, its really good people want to hear more.
